Securing Your Reservation & General Payment Terms

We accept cash and all major credit cards. We do not accept personal checks. Regardless of payment method used, all guests must maintain a valid credit card on file

We require payment in full for all daily and weekly reservations at the time of booking. Electricity usage is included in our daily and weekly pricing.

For our spring and fall weekend-only camping specials, a minimum deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. For guests making a 50 % deposit at the time of booking, the balance will be due 1 month prior to your scheduled arrival date. Electricity usage for the spring and fall weekend-only specials is metered and is billed separately. 

For monthly reservations, a minimum deposit of 50% or the first month is required at the time of booking. For guests making a 50% deposit at the time of booking, the balance of the first month will be due 1 month prior to your scheduled arrival date. If a multi-month reservation is being reserved, our team members will explain the terms of payment for the additional months while your monthly reservation is being made. Electricity usage for monthly campers is metered and billed separately. 

With the exception of multi-month reservations or promotional reservations with non-standard payment terms, all guests must have their reservation balances paid off 1 month (28 days) prior to their arrival date. Any balances that remain unpaid by that time will automatically be charged to the guest's credit card on file.

General Reservation Cancellations

If you need to cancel an upcoming reservation, and you are able to provide us with the necessary notice outlined in our campground cancellation policy below, please email us directly at inof@skyridgerv.com or call us at (860) 485-7500 to speak to one of our SkyRidge Trails team members.

SkyRidge Trails Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: 

  • If you cancel with 14 days or less notice of check-in date - no refunds or credits
  • 15 or more days notice of check-in date - you can receive a refund, minus a processing fee or $25 or 5%, whichever is greater. Alternately, you can receive a credit to be used in same camping season.

Travel-Sure – Our flexible cancellation policy option.

This add-on allows guests to change their dates or cancel their reservation if they provide notice prior to 2 PM the day before scheduled arrival. 

  • Cancellation or change of date requests must be made by either phone (860) 485-7500 or email (info@skyrdidgerv.com). Providing notice of cancellation or date change requests via social media, text messaging, etc. cannot be accepted.
  • Cancellations will be refunded or credited in their entirety, minus the Travel-Sure Fee and booking fee.
  • Change of date requests may result in higher or lower nightly rates than a guest's original reservations. If higher, the guest must pay the difference. If lower, the guest will be credited the difference for use in the camp store and/or activities.

The Travel-Sure add-on can be purchased up to 18 days before your scheduled arrival.

The Travel-Sure Fee add-on, if purchased, is non-refundable.

Booking fees apply to all reservations and are non-refundable.

No refunds or credits will be issued due to no-shows, no-stays, early departures, or ejection.

Request Refund or Credit

While we encourage our guests to plan ahead for all possible scenarios, and to protect their camping trip with the Travel-Sure add-on, we understand that an unavoidable tragedy or situation may occur that would result in a guest having to cancel a reservation outside of the terms of our cancellation policy. In those rare situations, we try to do our best to help work with affected guests, on a case-by-case basis. Please submit the form below if you are seeking a refund or credit outside of the terms of our cancellation policy, listed above.

Several things to note:

We are not able to offer refunds or credits for COVID. COVID has been a part of our world for a substantial period of time and we all need to live with the uncertainty it brings.

If there has been a death in the family – we are truly, truly so sorry you are experiencing a loss – please email the obituary to info@skyridgerv.com.

Unless the campground closes due to a hurricane, etc. we do not refund for the weather.
